MDB Working Group on MfDR

ADB has been the inaugural chair of the Multilateral Development Bank (MDB) Working Group on MfDR. The Working Group was established by the Heads of MDBs in 2004 as a forum to facilitate exchange of information and sharing of tasks among the MDBs. The Working Group has proved to be an important forum to exchange views on MfDR challenges and the actions being pursued by individual MDBs. It also represents a vital avenue for "technology transfer" among key players and practioners involved in MfDR.

ADB led the preparation of the Multilateral Development Bank's 2005 Common Performance Assessment System (COMPAS). The 2006 Global Monitoring Report drew on the findings of the COMPAS.

ADB has participated in the preparation of the 2006 COMPAS, which was led by Inter-American Development Bank.
