Mongolia has received loans for 35 projects totaling $676.54 million since 1991. The ongoing loan portfolio as of 31 December 2007 consists of 14 loans for a total of $220.5 million, including nine projects, two programs, and two combined project and development finance institution loans.

Mongolia's Urban Development Sector [ PDF ]
A rapid sector assessment finds that ADB contributed significantly to improvements in Mongolia's urban sector. ADB's assistance for housing finance led to a fledgling mortgage market that exceeded the sector development goal expectations. In addition, it appears that ADB's interventions have had a modest impact, albeit indirectly, on the reduction of poverty in the selected aimag centers.
