Nongovernment Organizations and Civil Society

The VUFO-NGO Resource Centre promotes sharing of information, resources and experiences among international NGOs in Viet Nam, their partners, and Vietnamese organizations. The Resource Centre offers a directory* of civil society organizations in Viet Nam.

CIVICUS*: World Alliance for Citizen Participation is an international network that helps strengthen citizen action and civil society. CIVICUS provides a focal point for knowledge-sharing, common interest representation, global institution-building and engagement among civil society.

The study, Forms of Engagement Between CSOs & State Agencies in Vietnam*, combines a survey of existing literature on civil society and civil society organizations (CSOs) in Viet Nam, overview of specific cases of CSO-state engagement, views and experiences of key informants, and a media review.
