Nepal and ADB
Nepal is a founding member of ADB and, as of 31 December
2007, cumulative lending to the country reached $2.3 billion, with investment grants amounting
to $183.9 million and technical assistance of $127.6 million. The assistance is focused on
agriculture, education, water supply and sanitation, transport and communications, finance,
energy, and public and private sector governance.
