Office of the Auditor General

The Office of the Auditor General (OAG) conducts periodic, independent, and objective appraisals of ADB activities to ensure adequacy and effectiveness of controls, and to identify the means for improving economy, efficiency, and effectiveness in the use of resources in carrying out ADB's mission.

The Auditor General reports directly to the President. The Audit Committee of the Board of Directors reviews OAG's activities.

OAG activities include:

  • Financial, Administrative, and Information Systems Audits
  • Assistance to External Auditors
  • Liaison with International Organizations
