Office of the Auditor General

The Office of the Auditor General (OAG) consists of a Financial, Administrative and Information Systems Division (OAGF) and an Integrity Division (OAGI) reporting to the Auditor General. The Auditor General reports directly to the President. The Audit Committee of the Board of Directors reviews OAG's activities.

OAGF conducts periodic, independent, and objective appraisals of ADB activities to ensure adequacy and effectiveness of controls, and to identify the means for improving economy, efficiency, and effectiveness in the use of resources in carrying out ADB's mission.

OAGI is the focal point for dealing with alleged incidents of corruption or fraud in its projects or by its staff.

OAG activities include:

  • Financial, Administrative, and Information Systems Audits
  • Assistance to External Auditors
