Office of Information Systems and Technology - OIST

The Office of Information Systems and Technology (OIST), formerly called the Office of Computer Services, is responsible for planning and managing automated information systems and telecommunications services of the Bank to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the Bank's operational, financial, and administrative functions.

Activities of OIST include

  • the design, development, implementation, and evaluation of application systems
  • acquisition, installation, and maintenance of hardware and software
  • management of the network, including telecommunications
  • capacity monitoring
  • advising staff in the use of computer and office automation techniques for analyzing economic, financial, and operational statistics
  • advising departments and offices on computer-related aspects of Bank projects
  • coordination of the use of external communications services and facilities
