Types of ADB-financed private sector projects

ADB has supported many private sector projects in our developing member countries (DMCS) since 1983. Currently, ADB's private sector operations focus primarily on two major sectors:

Infrastructure: power (e.g. generation, transmission and distribution, including a particular focus on renewable power), transportation (e.g. roads, ports, railways, airports), water supply and waste treatment, oil & gas infrastructure, and telecommunications
Capital Markets: financial institutions and investment funds
