National Program
The main objective of a national road safety program is to strengthen key organizations and increase their ability to coordinate and develop road safety initiatives. A comprehensive road safety program should include the following ten main components.

Due to the interdiscipinary nature of road safety and involvement of various agencies, the establishment of a National Road Safety Council is an important component of the program. The Council would help all agencies practice the three 'C's of cooperation, coordination, and collaboration.
