Consultants Review
In 2000, ADB engaged consultants to review practices and procedures, which covered the following topics:
- traffic legislation, rules, and regulations
- emergency response systems
- road safety education, publicity, and campaigns
- driver training, testing, and overall management practices
- vehicle testing inspection, and management procedures
- use of the Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) by the Ministry of Public Security
- road accident analysis systems
- road traffic planning and management
