Future Directions

The draft strategy maps out possible future directions for ADB's environmental assistance to the region. These are grouped according to four intervention levels.

At the local level

  • Improved Provision of Environmental Services (environmental infrastructure, such as: sanitation, wastewater treatment, etc.)
  • Integrated Water Resources Management for Atolls
  • Community-based Tourism and Biodiversity Conservation

At the sub-national level
