Regional Workshop

The Regional Workshop on Achieving Results in Private Sector Development (PSD) - A Strategic Process provided a venue to prepare a guide to support government officials in taking a strategic approach to organizing, developing, and implementing PSD strategies in support of long-term economic growth and sustainable poverty reduction.

During the workshop, invited speakers presented the concepts and ideas behind the evolving PSD process guide and participants discussed among themselves the challenges and lessons learned in coordinating, developing and implementing PSD strategies.

The workshop was held in the ADB Headquarters in Manila, Philippines on 18-20 April 2005.
