In-Country Workshops: Trade Logistics and Customs Modernization

    Consultation meeting reflects broad-based participation from public and private sectors.
  • Mongolia Trade Logistics Consultation Seminar
    8 February 2006, Ulaanbaatar
    The consultation seminar, co-sponsored with Mongolia Chamber of Commerce and Ministry of Trade and Industry, launched the Mongolia trade logistics study. The Consultation Seminar brought together forty participants from trade-related government agencies and the private sector. Country Director, MNRM, Barry Hitchcock co-chaired and gave the introductory remarks.

  • Finalization Workshop on Customs Modernization
    9 February 2006, Ulaanbaatar
    A one-day Finalization Workshop was held on Mongolia's customs modernization assessment and proposed strategy. The workshop reviewed findings and recommendations with Mongolia customs, relevant trade-related agencies, and private sector stakeholders. CD Barry Hitchcock opened the workshop.
