Costab 32

Costab 32 is the project costing component of a software series to improve efficiency and effectiveness of Project Processing activities. Costab 32:

• helps mission leaders, project economists, and financial analysts to organize and analyze project costing data in the course of project preparation and appraisal
• calculates physical and price contingencies, taxes and foreign exchange
• displays data in detailed cost tables
• coverts financial costs to economic costs for use in economic analysis.

Costab 32, upgraded in 2001 and 2008 by ADB, is a 32-bit version of the software designed to operate under various operating systems (Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows 2000 and Windows XP. Costab 32 also incorporates several new features, including:

• The presentation of taxes and duties as a separate line item under the base cost at the EACADB tab.
• Enhancement of Costab reports uploaded to MS Excel to handle changes in default definitions like merge report=on; suppress rows with zero=off; and center titles=on.

Costab 32 also produces all summary tables in a single excel workbook to facilitate file management. Please note that ADB does not support Costab 32. It is made available to skilled users, consultants, and executing agencies to assist in project preparation. Installation Instructions:

Costab32Install.exe Download the program [ EXE: 5,974kb ]

1. Download Costab 32 program.
2. Follow the instructions in the setup program. (Note: Do not change anything on the default option just click on the NEXT button to accept the default settings.)
3. Costab 32 icon will be automatically created in your Main Desktop Screen after the installation.
