Implementing Partners in Pakistan

ADB fielded an inception mission to Karachi, Pakistan from 31 October to 1 November 2006 to discuss and agree with the National Institute of Public Administration (NIPA) regarding its role and responsibilities as potential implementing partner in connection with the coaching and mentoring program on the use of CRC methodology and CIB techniques under Project. More specifically, the Mission sought to:

• brief the NIPA Karachi on the RETA and its proposed role in implementation
• clarify project deliverables, required tasks, responsibilities, and accountabilities
• secure expression of interest and commitment to serve as an implementing partner

A letter of agreement has been recently signed between ADB and NIPA.
