Session on the Learning Toolkits at the NAPSIPAG Annual Conference in Sydney, Australia

Mr. Bryn Campbell, Director of Australia Continuous Improvement Group (ACIG) attended the NAPSIPAG Annual Conference held in Sydney, Australia on 4-6 December 2006 and made a presentation on the e-learning toolkits: the continuous improvement and benchmarking (CIB) technique and the citizen report card (CRC). The presentation included a demonstration on how the toolkits may be accessed by the participants and stressed its value as a self-learning tool.

ACIG presentation generated a lot of interest from the participants and many of them indicated willingness to promote toolkits through incorporating them in their own curricula and training programs. A number of participants mentioned their interest to take on the challenge of collaborating with ADB in giving mentoring and coaching sessions to their faculty and staff and eventually learn how to apply the toolkits in selected public services.

The conference was attended by more than a hundred public administration experts who are mostly from the Asia-Pacific region. The Graduate School of Government of the University of Sydney hosted the conference.
