About the Project

This chart shows the various ADB internal and external processes that influence the development of the revised Forest Policy.

The project team consists of:

• A Forest Sector Working Group (FSWG) composed of key ADB staff from different department guides the TA implementation
• International consultants with expertise in forest policy and economics, institutional and organizational reform, forest sector strategy development, global environmental issues, and forest law
• National consultants with expertise in natural resource management conducted country case studies
• External Peer Review Panel conducted an expert review of the draft forest policy

Expected outputs are:

• Regional Regulatory Reform Assessment Report

• Draft ADB Forest Policy Draft Working Paper as of 2 July 2003

• An ADB portfolio and 1995 forestry policy assessment report

• Country case studies and workshops proceedings
