Country Case Studies

We have conducted country case studies for Bangladesh, Pakistan, Philippines, and Sri Lanka. The objectives are to describe forest policy and institutional reform trends and assess the impact of ADB forestry projects as well as the impact of other donors' projects.

We selected Bangladesh, Pakistan, Philippines, and Sri Lanka because they have substantial investments in the sector and ADB is a major investment partner.

Two workshops have been conducted in each country:

  1. Inception workshops
  2. Final workshops

The project team have undertaken field visits to selected project sites to conduct in-depth assessment of the project's impact with inputs from participating institutions, communities, and potential beneficiaries.
