Pacific Infrastructure Task Force Meeting (5 June 2006, PLCO, ADB)

This meeting had provided a chance for all members of the Pacific Infrastructure Task Force (PITF) to receive an update on the project status, to share information, and to have discussions on the project substance. The newly recruited consulting team was also introduced.

Inception Workshop (28-30 August 2006, Sydney)

An Inception Workshop is planned in Sydney in late August 2006, which will include key senior officials of Pacific island Governments, utilities and donor representatives. The Workshop will provide a unique opportunity to discuss the current status of infrastructure provision in the Pacific, participate in the ongoing regional policy debate regarding improvement initiatives, and learn of how participating Pacific island nations can benefit from the proposed activities of the Task Force and the RETA.
