Initial Poverty and Social Assessment

An initial poverty and social assessment is conducted for all ADB investment projects and identifies the people who may be beneficially or adversely affected by a project.

ADB's public communications policy calls for the initial poverty and social assessment to be publicly available upon completion. See examples here. You may also find such assessments as appendices to PPTA Reports.
