Project Information Documents

A project information document (PID) is summary information on an ADB-assisted project (loan, grant, or technical assistance).

For public sector projects, ADB posts PIDs as soon as preparatory work begins on the project. During project implementation, public sector PID updates for loans and grants include the status of financing, implementation progress, development outcome, and loan covenants.

Project information documents for private sector projects are posted after ADB has determined that a project is likely to be presented to the Board of Directors, but no later than 30 days before the date of Board consideration. Private sector PIDs reflect activities, status of development objectives, and material changes.

As the project is prepared, you can expect more information to be added to the PID, on a quarterly basis.

See where PIDs are discussed in ADB’s public communications policy.

The PID summary page also includes documents produced during the project cycle, such as TA reports, RRPs, legal agreements, safeguard documents, final consultants reports, and completion reports.

Search for project information or contact the InfoUnit for questions about PIDs and other project information.
