ADB at Bookfairs/Exhibits, 2005

ADB, together with the WB and UN, is participating in the Indonesia Book Fair at the Jakarta Convention Center from 7-11 December. The Fair, which was opened by Vice President Yusuf Kalla, is conducted by the Indonesia Publishers Association and includes international and national publications. The theme this year is the Rise of Aceh. About 150 publishers and book distributors are involved.

The Philippine Supreme Court hosted an International Conference and Showcase on Judicial Reforms on 28-30 November attended by members of the Judiciary in the Asia-Pacific Region. Representatives from ADB's Office of the General Counsel and Southeast Asia Department participated in the conference, and staff from Department of External Relations assisted at the exhibit.

ADB's participation at the Frankfurt Book Fair (held 19 to 23 October), where representatives from Manila and the European Representative Office met with distributors and other visitors from around the world.
