Social Development: A Quality Life for All

This video production introduces the concerns for social issues in development at the policy and project levels. National legislation creates the context for equitable development. Meanwhile, at the project level, practitioners use appropriate techniques to help ensure that projects reach their intended beneficiaries. Social analysis and social assessment, public participation, institutional analysis, and monitoring and evaluation are four key activities for designing and implementing development projects in a socially sensitive and sensible manner.
