The Seventh Conference reviewed developments in the Greater Mekong Subregion (GMS) Program since the Sixth Ministerial Conference, considered the agreements and recommendations of the GMS Forums and Working Groups, and discussed key issues relating to the effective implementation of the Program and agreed on measures to address them. These issues include resource mobilization for subregional projects (with particular focus on private financing), building private-public partnerships, and developing effective coordination mechanisms to promote subregional cooperation. The meeting also discussed the progress of the long-term framework study on the GMS, which is called GMS 2020. 196 pages.
