1. Asian Development Bank (ADB) and People's Republic of China (PRC) Meet to set strategic directions Agreed steps forward Annually

Concept Development
3. ADB Departments, Developing Member Countries (DMCs) Propose project concepts up to $500,000. (normally at two fixed times during year) Initial concept paper 2
4. Fund coordinator in OREI Screen the initial proposal and recommend to the PRC Fund committee for initial concurrence; information copy sent to the PRC OREI recommendation 2
5. Regional Cooperation and Poverty Reduction Fund (PRC Fund) committee: staff from departments, Resident Missions (RMs), chaired by PRC Fund coordinator Provide concept clearance Initial concurrence sent to the PRC for endorsement 2
PRC Endorsement
6. PRC Provide endorsement Concept endorsed or disapproved 21
Processing
7. PRC Fund coordinator, originating department Follow up with originating department or resident mission to help prepare final project paper PRC Fund project paper 7
