2. REGA project development to pre-feasibility/feasibility stage:
   

   Phase 1: The following draft project pre-feasibility studies were prepared and are being updated:

   • Debancheng No. 1 Wind Farm - Technical improvement and Capacity Expansion
   • Kiln Fuel Substitution Project from Coal Gas to Natural Gas
   • Renovation Project of Blower Motor of the #7 Boiler of Mudanjiang 2nd Power Plant
   • Calcium Carbide Furnace Waste Heat Recovery Project
   • Fuel Switching from Coal to Natural Gas for Residential Space Heating

   Phase 2: The following project feasibility study/ CDM Project Design Document (PDD) has been prepared and revised:

   • Methane Recovery and Utilization [ PDF ]



3. Policies and strategies for developing and promoting REGA technologies: being integrated with Phase 1 country report.

   • Mekong, East and Southeast Asia Subregional Workshop on 19-22 September 2005 in Beijing
   • Enabling CDM in Asia and the Pacific: ADB’s Renewable Energy, Energy Efficiency & climate Change Program (a side event at COP 11), 28 November 2005 in Montreal, Canada.
   • Clean Energy Week on 20-22 June 2006 in Manila.
