Regional and Sustainable Development Department
Towards Greater Relevance and Effectiveness

The Regional and Sustainable Development Department (RSDD) was established in 2002 as a key feature of the ADB reorganization. In 2005 RSDD reorganized to improve its relevance and effectiveness. RSDD is under the Vice President (Knowledge Management and Sustainable Development).

RSDD's mission statement, mandate, and key result areas are stated in RSDD's Strategic Business Plan (2006-2008). [ PDF: 102kb | 17 pages]
