Review of ADB’s Graduation Policy

ADB's 1998 Graduation Policy, which includes country classification and graduation framework for classifying developing member countries and for "graduating" the developing member countries from regular ADB assistance, is being reviewed. The review covers the following areas:

On 26 September, the working paper on the Review of the 1998 Graduation Policy of the ADB was considered by the Board. The review is expected to be completed in early 2008.
