Results Management Unit

In 2004, ADB Management established the Results Management Unit within the Strategy and Policy Department. The Unit is tasked to spearhead the implementation of managing for development results (MfDR) agenda in ADB.

Within ADB, the Results Management Unit is collaborating with different departments and offices to better integrate processes and programs into ADB's commitment to development effectiveness. The Results Management Unit also submits a semi-annual progress report on MfDR in ADB to the Development Effectiveness Committee of ADB's Board of Directors. ADB is improving the manner in which strategy and policies are translated into action.

MfDR presents many challenges for ADB, but it is also the cornerstone of its own reform agenda and through which ADB can fulfill its commitments under the Paris Declaration*.

Results Matter is a newsletter published by the Results Management Unit. It provides a platform for sharing ideas and experiences on MfDR.
