Asian Development Outlook 2009 Update: SingaporeThe current account surplus fell to $9.0 billion in the first half of 2009, from $14.7 billion a year earlier, a result of reduced surpluses in both goods and services trade. For the whole year, a still-large current account surplus equivalent to 10.0% of GDP is expected, rising to 14.0% in 2010 in tandem with the improvement in trade in goods and services. Reports
