ADB's strategy for Solomon Islands has an overarching goal of rapid, pro-poor, private sector-led economic growth.

Considering the country's key challenges and taking into account other development partners' areas of activities, ADB is focusing on transportation infrastructure and services and institutional, legal, and regulatory reforms to improve the business environment. Capacity development and the promotion of good governance are cross-cutting priorities.

Key measures of ADB's assistance focus include:

• development of transport infrastructure and services, including roads, shipping, and aviation
• reforming state-owned enterprises
• business law and regulatory reforms
• financial sector reforms, including the collateral framework
