Enhancing Social and Gender Statistics

Concluding Workshop 24-27 June 2003 Bangkok, Thailand

The TA aims to assist selected DMCs to (i) generate and analyze social statistics at the sub-national levels and with gender breakdowns from the census of population and (ii) explore other sources of these statistics for those years between the census years.

The TA covers South Asian developing member countries (Bangladesh, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka), and the Mekong developing member countries (Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, Thailand and Viet Nam).
