Treasury Department - TD

The Treasury Department (TD) is responsible for

• mobilizing funds required for ADB's operations
• planning and managing ADB's finances

Specifically, TD

• raises funds in international and domestic capital markets, and administers these borrowings
• coordinates all work relating to increases in ADB's capital and replenishments of its concessional loan window, the ADF
• formulates ADB's ALM policies on liquidity, income management, currency management practices, and loan pricing
• manages ADB's investment portfolio and ensures that ADB's liquidity requirements are met at all times
