Program of Activities
CFWS finances a coherent program of activities designed to promote effective water management policies and practices in the Asia and the Pacific region. It supports the activities of the six program categories identified as priority needs of ADB and its developing member countries (DMCs). |

Promotion and Public Awareness The Fund supported the implementation of ADB’s Water Awareness Program to increase awareness in the region about water issues, policies, strategies and practices |

Knowledge Base and Capacity Building The Fund supports the development of a knowledge management system, and the design and implementation of capacity building interventions for ADB and DMC staff |

Pilot and Demonstration Activities The Fund supports the development of new and systematic approaches to water policy and sector reform, and the improvement of innovative local initiatives implemented by NGOs and communities |

Water Partnerships The Fund supports activities designed to initiate or strengthen national and regional water partnerships in the region |

Regional Events and Initiatives The Fund supports important events and initiatives that promote and catalyze the implementation of ADB’s water policy in the region. |
