The main areas of collaboration between ADB and WaterAid are as follows:

Assessment of Civil Society Involvement in National Water Sector Apex Bodies
WaterAid examined the extent to which civil society has participated in the work of national water sector apex bodies and the various modalities adopted by ADB's developing member countries in involving civil society.

Preparing WaterAid NGO Partners for Constructive Engagement in 2005 ADB Water Policy
This examined the effectiveness of a sample ADB-supported water supply and sanitation projects in Bangladesh, India, and Nepal, and communicated their evidence and analyses effectively throughout the process of the 2005 comprehensive review of ADB water policy implementation.
