Sweden

The multi-stakeholder Swedish Committee for Water and Dam Issues (SKVD) entered into a dialogue process to prepare recommendations for implementation of the WCD report by Swedish organizations. Representatives on the Committee included developers, consulting companies, authorities, financers, non-governmental organizations, research institutions and indigenous peoples.

Their report is entitled 'FUTURE DAMS: Recommendations to Swedish Stakeholders on Implementing "Dams and Development - A New Framework for Decision Making"
