Dams and Development
A source of information, guidance, and weblinks
related to planning and implementation of dam projects

Compiled by

Jeremy Bird
ADB Consultant
October 2005

In recent years there has been much debate about the benefits and impacts of dam projects. The main purpose of this e-paper is to provide structured and easy access to a range of papers, case studies, and websites that deal with planning and implementation of such projects.

Inclusion of materials in this e-paper does not necessarily imply an endorsement by ADB or the author. ADB's policies, as published on their website, apply to the planning and implementation of projects financed by ADB.

Suggestions for additional material, case studies and links for inclusion in subsequent versions of the e-paper as well as other comments should be sent to the ADB Water Team at water@adb.org

To read some of the files contained in this e-paper, you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader.
