ADB Water Financing Program 2006-2010

Rural Water

Rural Asia needs more water for irrigating agricultural fields, better drainage to prevent floods, clean drinking water in people’s homes, and improved sanitation.

ADB’s Water Financing Program 2006-2010 is doubling investments in water supply and sanitation, and irrigation and drainage to improve health and livelihoods in Asia’s rural communities.
