Central Asia and South Caucasus Water Utilities Association- CASCWUA
Program of Activities

The Central Asia and South Caucasus Water Utilities Association (CASCWUA) is a new organization of water utilities aiming to measurably improve the performance of its members in terms of meeting the water supply and sanitation targets of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs).

CASCWUA Programs
Performance Benchmarking
A benchmarking exercise will determine the performance levels of members in core areas of water utility operations.  
Twinning Arrangements
Twinning projects between advanced and developing water utilities will focus on specific technical or managerial capacity.
Training Programs
Training programs, study tours, and pilot activities will be organized for critical issues like non-revenue water reduction or water demand management.
Workshops and Seminars
Members will be invited to attend seminars or workshops to get knowledge and exposure on subjects related to utility performance.
Knowledge Development
Monographs on several subjects will be commissioned, among them on tariff structure, sanitation strategies, and more.
