Water Partners

ADB works in partnership with networks, development agencies, and donors to fast-track water developments in the Asia and Pacific region.
Networks

ADB supports regional and sub-regional water networks working to strengthen institutions and fast-track reforms.

Asia-Pacific Water Forum (APWF)
Works to identify and adopt solutions to water issues across the region

Central Asia and South Caucasus Water Utilities Association (CACSWUA)
Addresses inadequate water and sanitation services for the poor

KnowledgeHubs (KHub)
Promotes sharing knowledge and championing feasible solutions

National Water Sector Apex Bodies (NWSAB)
Adopt policies and laws, coordinate reforms, and represent stakeholders' interests

Network of Asian River Basin Organizations (NARBO)
Introduces and promotes Integrated Water Resources Management in river basins

South Asian Water Utilities Network (SAWUN)
Improves water supply and sanitation services delivery for cities and communities

South East Asian Water Utilities Network (SEAWUN)
Improves water and sanitation services delivery and advocates sector reforms

WaterLinks
Supports Water Operator Partnerships between water and wastewater utilities

Funding Facility

ADB and its donors have established two funding facilities to ensure momentum and continuity of water developments.

Water Financing Partnership Facility
Mobilizes investments to support the Water Financing Program 2006-2010. WFPF donors include The Netherlands, Australia, Austria, Norway, and Spain.

Cooperation Fund for the Water Sector
Catalyzed the implementation of ADB's Water Policy. CFWS donors include The Netherlands and Norway.
