The Kapit Bisig community along the Metro Manila’s Manggahan Floodway badly needed a new system but could not afford the connection fee of the water utility, Manila Water.
Through an ADB pilot project, Manila Water installed piped connections in the neighborhood and allowed the community to pay the connection fee over three years. |
