Stephen P. Groff is Vice-President (Operations 2) of ADB. He assumed office in October 2011.

Better connectivity between South Asia and Southeast Asia – through hardware and associated software – can unlock the full benefits of closer economic ties between the two subregions and help rebalance Asian growth toward domestic and regional markets, delegates at the 46th Annual Meeting of ADB heard today.

ADB Vice-President Stephen Groff will lead an ADB delegation to the Pacific Energy Summit, to be held in Auckland on 25-26 March, hosted by the New Zealand Government and the European Union.

ADB is resuming operations in Myanmar, with an assistance package for social and economic development that is designed to build a solid foundation for further reforms to alleviate poverty and foster growth.
