Afghanistan and the International Community - A Partnership for the Future

Delegates at the Berlin conference.

A mission led by President Tadao Chino attended a ministerial-level international conference on "Afghanistan and the International Community -- A Partnership for the Future, " hosted by the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany and co-chaired by Afghanistan, Germany, Japan, and the United Nations, on 31 March - 1 April 2004 in Berlin, Germany.

The purpose of the conference was to reaffirm and specify the commitment of Afghanistan to continue and complete the transformation process, and the commitment of the international community to support this project, and contribute to its completion.
