Informal Meeting on ADB’s Accountability Mechanism

05 May 2013 (10:00 am-11:00 am, Hall 8, Room 4)

Development effectiveness requires high standards of accountability, transparency, openness, and public participation. As an international development agency dedicated to eliminating poverty in Asia and the Pacific, ADB constantly strives to enhance all of these aspects of its operations. The Accountability Mechanism provides a forum where people adversely affected by ADB-assisted projects can voice and seek solutions to their problems and report alleged noncompliance of ADB's operational policies and procedures.
