Greater public investment is required in education, health and nutrition to support inclusive growth, reduce inequality, and empower poor and vulnerable people in developing Asia and the Pacific. Such investment needs to be accompanied by strengthened accountability and a commitment to ensuring quality, accessibility and affordability. Drawing from examples in the region and around the world, leading experts will share insights on the role of information and communications technology, capable administrative and personnel systems, government transparency, and citizen voice in promoting effective delivery of public services.
