Sponsored Seminar (IFR-Thomson Reuters with L&T Infrastructure Finance Company)
Funding India's Infrastructure – Opportunities and Challenges

03 May 2013 (12:15 pm-1:45 pm, Hall 2, Room 3)
International Financing Review (IFR) – the premium source of global capital markets intelligence, published by Thomson Reuters – in sponsorship with L&T Infrastructure Finance Company, is proud to hold a panel discussion focusing on providing solutions to India’s infrastructure funding needs.
The event will discuss how policy constraints and red tape hinders the various funding avenues for infrastructure in India and what can be done to meet these challenges.
The event, which will be held at the upcoming 46th Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors of the ADB at New Delhi in the first week of May, will discuss issues ranging from policy and regulatory changes to foreign investment in India, to investor perceptions and challenges, and how to streamline changes for workable solutions.
The expected panelists will consist of top capital market financiers, foreign and local investors, sovereign rating analysts, lawyers specializing in international and local laws to key issuers and representatives of the exclusive sponsor of the event. The discussion will be moderator by an IFR representative.
The panel discussion will outline in detail the various challenges faced by issuers and investors and how these can be addressed so that India will once again be perceived as an investment opportunity. The discussions will cover the interest of both the local and foreign investors.
