Doha Development Agenda: Implications for Developing AsiaFriday, 10 May

Moving a step forward from the Uruguay Round, on 14 November 2001 in Doha, Qatar, WTO members agreed to a new round of multilateral trade negotiations. Dubbed the "development round," the new trade round is aimed at benefiting the poor, focusing on issues of direct interest to developing countries.
The seminar will assess the implications of this new round of trade negotiations for developing Asia. Discussion topics would include:
