Towards Asian Integration: The Role of Regional CooperationThursday, 9 May
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
With the process of globalization accelerating through information technology, globalized financial markets, and worldwide production networks, neighboring countries seem to be inevitably moving closer to regional integration. This trend poses diversified strategic challenges throughout Asia, spanning from the need for developing cross-border infrastructure and streamlining the flow of goods and services, to restructuring the financial sector and harmonizing policy to attract foreign investments. Regional leaders will discuss these challenges and the manner by which regional cooperation is driving the process of globalization.
