Better Road Brings New Hope

Prime Minister Hun Sen inaugurates a rehabilitated section of National Roads 5 and 6, connecting Siem Reap and the temples of Angkor to Cambodia's main border crossing with Thailand at Poipet.

The road is financed by a US$50 million concessional loan from ADB to improve connectivity in the Greater Mekong Subregion. The road will boost trade and tourism in the northwest, especially for Siem Reap.
