GMS - Agriculture Information Network Service (GMS-AINS)
The Foreign Economic Cooperation Center (FECC) of the Ministry of Agriculture, PRC developed the Greater Mekong Subregion – Agriculture Information Network Service (GMS-AINS) under ADB technical assistance support. The GMS-AINS website was officially launched during the GMS Agriculture Ministers’ Meeting on 10-12 April 2007 Beijing , PRC.
The GMS-AINS provides a common agricultural information portal for the subregion to share knowledge on crop production, livestock, fisheries, and forestry. The aim is not only to increase the flow and exchange of information but also to stimulate intraregional trade of agricultural produce and value-added products.
