Kyrgyz Republic Resident Mission (KYRM)

ADB began its operations in the Kyrgyz Republic in 1994. The Kyrgyz Republic Resident Mission (KYRM) was established in 2000.

KYRM's primary role includes:

  •  Implementation of ADB's overall business plan in the country
  •  Coordination of the country strategy and programming
  •  Portfolio management
  •  Project administration
  •  Support for strategic policy dialogue
  •  Regional cooperation
  •  Coordination of ADB activities with the government, development partners, nongovernment organizations, academic institutions, private sector, and other members of civil society
  •  External relations and information dissemination
